Hey, I'm scratching my head trying to figure out the 3DMark Vantage, 06,\ and 3DMark 11 scores of the Vaio SB. The search function on the owner's lounge hates me and I can't finding anything related to 3DMark. I found some benchmarks on notebook check of a Vaio SB, but it was the one with the 6470M which I'm sure offers far worse performance than the 6630M.

I'm trying to decide between a MB13/15, Vaio SB, and M14x.

Just go online and search 3DMark06 for the 6630m, for those tests, the CPU wont be *that* much of a bottleneck if all of them are just running different variants of i5's.

Here's a link of all mobile gpus i like to use:

note to the wise: the 13" MBP has no discrete GPU, only integrated HD 3000 (~310M)

The m14x is of a completely different league than the MBP 13/15 and SB. The MBP 15" specs are only *comparable* to the m14x.

Of course, the sheer power of the m14x comes with a hefty price-weight. It is a 6.5 pound machine, which is typically the weight of a 17" notebook. So much for portability.

What type of user are you? Do you travel around often and what transport do you take? These are questions you should ask yourself before choosing a notebook.

the 6750m and the gt 555m are about the same in performance. If the m14x came with a gtx 460m (a great jump in performance, 15-20%) it would be a good buy, since it dont come with that gpu, that thing, for me, is a pretty good example of a failure.
