is there any way to get my SR7K to look for at the firewire port during boot? my pcmcia slot is broken and i'd like to be able to use my LaCie firewire CDROM drive for system recovery CDs if i need to. i've made a floopy boot disk and i've found a DOS firewirer driver. i just don't know if can make the VAIO look at the firewire port during startup. it isn't an option in the BIOS.
    thanks for any insite.
