    Hello,

today i´ve installed the newest Intel hd 4000 and nvidia 640m le Driver with the packages from the Websites.

Intel driver Installation runs fine, nvidia Driver ended in a black ccreen. After restarting, everything seems ok - STAMINA and SPEED Switch is working as before,
power profiles are switched and the little tray tool gives the correct Information with integrated grapics and hybrid grapics in SPEED mode.

Is this the right way for updating Drivers on S13/15 Machines? I´m not sure if there are some Special Driver mods necessary, like in my old VAIO Z21 before...the Intel/ATI Part needed Special Drivers.

What do you think? Which Drivers are you using on your machine?

Did you clean the old driver first? Not usually necessary when going to a newer driver, but if you are having problems, uninstall, change both to Microsoft Basic Adapter, run Display Driver Uninstaller and only then install the new driver after enabling test mode. It is also a good idea to disconnect from the internet while you are doing this, otherwise Windows Update will 'helpfully' find a 'better' driver for you.

Yes, tried it in that way. As far as i know this Notebook uses optimus technology, so updating both drivers seems to be ok. But uninstalling Old driver is norma good idea, i think there are some special setting from Sony for switch or not?
