    I have 1 year old SONY VAIO SZ330 with Winxp. I do all windows updates as and when released. For last few days I am experiencing poor touch-pad response. I did a Factory restore and still same result. Is this sign of hardware wear-&-tear or bug or any trick I am missing.

    Please suggest.

    This may be hardware related.
    There have been a few touchpad problems on the SZ series.
    Search the forum a bit and see if there ewas a similar problem already.
