    Hi,

    I am new on sony SZ7 ..

I notice that there are new laptop drive which has capacity of more than 250GB e.g 320GB. However, on VAIO SZ7 specs only listed as 250GB as the biggest drive we can configure. Does it mean that VAIO SZ support ONLY UP TO 250GB and can't be upgrade further than that ... ?

    Thanks ..

The 320GB HDDs are quite new (and 500GB is about to arrive).

I don't think there will be any problems upgrading to a HDD larger than 250GB but manufacturers tend to quote the limit as being the largest size they used for their own product testing.

Will a 320GB drive work with my Sony SZ483N/C?
Do I need to perform any BIOS updates?
