This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Can anyone tell me if these are really needed, I can understand the power management one, but the others? I've looked around (even at the tweak section here) but the answers seem to be pretty vague and mostly say to let them be, but I don't ever see vaioupdate.exe actually update anything lol.

    You will need this service this one control the function keys if you disable this.function keys in you're computer will not work.
