    Hi guys,

Just wondering I have a friend who is about the hop on and buy a Sony VAIO T250 and want to know where the best place I can point him to to purchase it. There are so many good reputable places, but where can we get one that has a good price and/or has some awesome perks when buying a T?

Are there any other notebooks that are competition to the T which are about the same weight, awesome battery life and with bluetooth built in? Oh yeah and at the same price point? Thanks!

You'll get the best price on the internet, but buying there can sometimes be problematic. Often once you break the tape on the box, it is yours. If you have a problem you have to deal directly with the manufacturer. Same with ebay. If you buy at Best Buy or other brick and mortar at least you have the option to return it but will probably have to pay a restocking fee. Another ultraportable I'd look at is the Fujitsu P7010. Very well built and good screen. It also has a modular bay where you can put an extra battery when you are not burning. You can configure one here:

    Good Luck.

There's no bluetooth built into a Fujitsu P7000 series. [ :(] That is one must. Dealing with USB bluetooth adapters can be inconvenient especially when the person loses it all the time. [B)] Looks like there are no real specials for buying a T series. Probably just pick one up at Circuit City so if there is anything wrong with it, we can send it there. Thanks!

Aren't there Bluetooth PC cards? You could just slide those in the card slot and you wouldn't lose it.

I just picked up a T250P/L off of Ebay from a Power Seller for $1660 shipped. Check there for good deals. I'm sooo happy I searched Ebay before buying from a local place.
