Hi!
At me is VAIO TT without 3G the modem. I wish it to install. Who knows:
1. What details should be ordered (partnumbers)?
2. There are installation site photos?
3. What features are?
All thanks for answers......

As you probably know you can find the parts here.

I've done this mod before. I'm not sure where you live but if you buy the WWAN board in the US it won't come a sim card holder and you will need to solder that yourself if you need one.
Of course you will also need the antenna.
I bought an EU board.
I tried a GTM382E and then bought a Sony Gobi 1000. The EU models shipped witha GTM382W. Other cards might work but these cards have been proven to work. The Sony US models shipped with the Gobi card. If you buy another manfacturers Gobi card you may have problems getting it to work with the Sony Gobi software.
I never actually did my upgrade i paid to have it done, but i've got 5 antenna in my bezel now. There are no guides about removing the bezel. -
Greeting!
Many thanks for the answer.
I from Russia. Therefore to me it is necessary GSM the modem with slot for SIM. Tell, and in complete set IFX-517 there is an antenna?
You have installation photos?
Thanks.... -
I didn't install it myself and have no photos.
Just follow the instructions you used to upgrade your HD.
The antenna you can get from the same link as above or you buy it elsewhere as it does not come with it. You obviously 2 need fairly long antenna.
You can get a sim card holder of ebay. If you've never done it before take it someone who can solder. It is not that hard to do.
I can't remember how many connectors it takes whether it is 6 or 8 so may be wait until you get it or buy both types.

The wwan is underneath the dvd drive. You can see a part of the FPC in the top picture here.
