I just installed vista on my tx, I couldn't even find drivers for the machine. It won't run aero too because of gma 915. Any tx out there that is aero capable?

My TX850 is supposedly capable of running Vista but I'm not sure about Aero. I'm sticking with XP Pro for now.

The first Vaio TXs such as yours have GMA 900 (GMA 915) graphics and the later ones with Core Solo processors have GMA 950 (GMA 945) graphics, the latter can definately run Aero without a doubt, the GMA 900 I think most likely cannot.

You are absolutely sure? Even the (window tab) full screen switching between windows?

I have heard that the GMA 900 can actually run Aero in the beta versions of Vista but Intel has refused to release drivers for it to work with Aero in the final versions, look for it on Google, many are upset about this.

The tx's that are capable are any TXN and TX850 (and above).
