This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    It probably will not be long before another line of Vaio TX will be out, with some changes added to it. This is what I predict on the TX4.

    intel core duo processor U2500
    On-board 1 GB RAM + 1 SODIMM ddr2 memory slot
    80 GB Hard drive
    DVD dual layer burner
    Intel GMA 950 with 128MB dynamically allocated shared RAM/Video memory
    Biometric fingerprint sensor
    Windows Vista professional included
    11" LED backlit screen
    5 hours with standard battery
    Same form factor as TX3 series
    Webcam (maybe)
    64GB solid state hard drive (maybe)

    Release date: I would guess mid-December.
