I'm having problems getting this mouse to work properly. After installing the included setpoint software, the back/forward and various programmable shortcut keys wont work.
I found the only to make these keys work is to uninstall my touchpad and use generic windows drivers for it. This causes me too loose back/forward and scrolling gestures on my touchpad.
I have seen many positive review for this mouse on this forum alone, there has to be another solution to get both devices working properly. I have a TZ270 now with Vista. TIA for any help.

I have the VX Nano (and love it) but I've not yet used it with a TZ. However, I would ask why you've installed the Setpoint software?
Without any software installation, my VX Nano works how I want it: the middle ('search') button acts like a normal middle button and the back and forward buttons work as such, at least in Firefox which is where I've tested it. I have no reason to install Setpoint... are you sure you need it? -
Thanks for the reply. I thought about this option, but the setpoint software allows you to change what each button does with almost infinite possibilities.
It also allows you to change to pointer speed independent from the windows setting, another minor annoyance for me.
VAIO TZ and VX NANO.
