Firstly does anyone have a guide on the process?

Secondly if I install a fresh copy of an OS eg Vista instead of using the recovery disks which use XP, will all the drivers be present, and the function keys work?

Thirdly any extra things I should know?

    Thanks. :)

Both really, my main worry is that my function keys and other Sony related extras wont work if I install Vista.
