    Hi all,

I realise the issue I'm about to ask about has already been posted about alot here, but I've not found anyone with my specific problem, nor any solutions anywhere else online.

I'm trying to get bluray discs to play on a friends VAIO VGN-AR61M laptop. Discs wouldn't play using the default software, which was Win DVD BD. I ended up uninstalling that, thinking it'd be easy to grab another copy online. This wasnt the case, and so I havent been able to get the same version back. I tried with the trial of winDVD 2010 though, and that didn't play them either.

The programs dont given any error messages, they just tend to crash with the 'this program is not responding' error. I've exhasted my searches online, and found no solution, and not really anyone with the exact same problem.

One other thing, I installed new graphics drivers, for the NVIDIA 8400M GT in this laptop. However due to NVIDIA's bizarre practice of not releasing drivers for this card (even though they actually do work) I used the method on laptopvideo2go.com. Could this be the problem, and if so how do I fix it?

Thanks a lot for any help!
