im currently in the process of repairing this laptop Sony VAIO VGN-CR508E. recently my hard drive went dead on me, so i managed to grab one from a friend which has an identical laptop. I just swaped his hard drive and my laptop loaded well to the windows screen and so on. The only problem now is that whenever i want to topy certain keys like one example 2 < OUYR4U << comes out with a touch of a key and then # 4 stays stuck >> 444444444444444 until i press 1 and 2 at the same time it stops and CAPS go on and off . Before i tried to reformat my first hard drive i noticed it was also doing that so I think its not much b/c of the hard drive swap. I already opened up the laptop and check the connection of the keyboard and took it out and cleaned it just for the hell of it but it kept doing the same thing.

IS IT THE KEYBOARD? THE CONNECTION GOING TO THE MOTHERBOARD? OR THE MOTHERBOARD

can someone please help thx in advanced! :(
