I have searched so much on this topic it is driving me NUTS!! I know Sony recently introduced XP drivers/application bundles for people wishing to downgrade to XP from Vista on some laptop models in UK and Asia. However, I have not been able to find drivers for my VGN-N325E notebook anywhere!
I used these sites to try to search for my model:
http://www.css.ap.sony.com/vaio/Vista/General/AnnDetails.aspx?ID=319&Category=VAIO Accessories
http://www.sony-asia.com/subtype/usefulinfo/asset/216869?site=hp_en_AP_i
None of those two sites come up with any results when I search for my model number VGN-N325E. I do find other N-Series drivers when I search for 'VGN-N3' and I tried a few of them and only some files work for me. With most of them they return the message "Not the correct model." and doesn't let me proceed with the installation.
With the driver files that do let me install them, I'm not even sure if they are the correct ones for my hardware.
Also, I do not know where to find the applications so that I can use the Fn-key shortcuts on my laptop. I need this to turn down the brightness... right now the brightness is at 100% all the time.
Can someone please help me with the XP drivers/applications for this laptop? This has been driving me insane trying to get it to work!! I've had better luck getting stuff in Ubuntu linux to work but I hate linux. Please help!!!!!
