Hi, I'm looking into getting a sony vng-fz290 with the XBRITE-HiColor screen. Is this a glossy screen? I went to best buy today to play with the floor model (I'll be ordering from the sony site.), and it had a super shiny screen (I could see my reflection in it, it scared me!). I was under the impression that it was a anti glare screen though. I've asked the sony people, but they just read me this paragraph. >___<
"This technology provides more brilliant colors, sharp contrast and crisp graphics - unlike anything you've seen on a notebook. Also featured is a special, anti-reflective coating that lessens glare and light reflection. XBRITE-HiColor provides higher color saturation for more true-to-life colors while XBRITE-ECO conserves battery life."
Sorry if this is a stupid question, I know NOTHING!
Thanks in advance for your help!

I just received a FZ290 with the xbright screen. It is a very nice a bright screen. Yes it is a glossy screen but very easy on the eyes with great color. Far better that the screen in the Dell m1530 that also sitting in front of me. You won't be disappointed with the sony xbright screen.

Yes it is glossy and will be more reflective in bright light directly infront of the screen. But you will get used to it. The screen is so crisp. I love it.

I've only had mine less than 24 hours but the screen is amazing. I had friends over last night and they all oohed and aahed at the display =)

I have an FZ285U/B w/ nVidia 8400m GT card and my problem is that the colors are TOO saturated! The green grass in nature pictures is TOO green--almost florescent looking. And the Sony-nVidia driver has no way to turn down the color saturation for the desktop, only videos. HELP, please! Anyone else found this problem and solved it?
