    yes it's fhd. Not sure if glossy or not. I think it's glossy.

    That one's got the 6630 gpu as well vs. the 6470 (crappy) that you find elsewhere for that price.

    It is FHD. It's believed to be a TN panel with a very good polarizer on it (allowing wide viewing angles - almost IPS wide).

    Of course, it could actually just be a poorly color calibrated IPS panel.


    It's matte, iirc. But check out the SE owners thread for more info on that.

    I just bought it and the screen is amazing on the thing, sadly the side palm rest came off from the laptop. The overall build quality and slimness of the laptop was sweet but I just returned it as I felt that the side/edge might have been glued on.
