Hello everyone! So, I'm actually in a dilemma..
I'm actually very "noob" at comparing laptops. All I know is that these 2 both run on an i5 with a 6GB memory. Other than that, I don't seem to understand the difference between their specs..I don't want to make a mistake and just settle with any "ok" laptop like 2 years ago..I got a Gateway, and yikes. This piece of junk is falling apart.
I'm actually a college student, and yes, I do know that there are cheaper options. However, I also love gaming and trying out new MMOs, so good graphics & speed is a must for me.

Can someone simply explain what the difference between these 2 laptops are? Is the difference huge? Which one would YOU prefer?
Since the prices between the 2 are similar, I wouldn't mind taking the more expensive option if needed.

    Thanks for your time. :)

Technically they are newar the same.

SE Series is Sonys last year S! With Sandy Bridge CPU.

S15 Series ist the professional series with NEW Ivy Bridge CPU. The S15 has a very good Screen and is the 2012 model!

For your needs (college) I will take the new S! You have switchable graphics, good screen, "long" battery life (and sheet battery). And you get a much more powerful GPU!
