    greetings all,

I had recently upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10. I have recently reverted back to 7, due to issues I have yet to solve, hopefully some here can help.

There were no issues with installation or use, except the following two original program compatibility issues:
    1. notebook utilities: silent mode, I want a way to get it back
    2. backlit keyboard: I want control over this as well

    Thanks to all in advance

I have a different model, so I can only offer generic tips and suggestions.

    1. Install the Sony utilities in the proper order in compatibility mode - Windows 7. If there are isuues, try both compatibility mode and admin rights.
    2. Quite a few things need to be reinstalled after an upgrade, even if they were working properly before the upgrade.
    3. Follow the clean install guide for your model.
    4. A clean install works much better than an in place upgrade.
    5. Disconnect from the internet during Windows 10 setup. Install Windows, install the original chipset and Sony utilities, verify everything is working, and then connect to the internet and see if Windows Update breaks anything. If it does, use wushowhide.diagcab to hide that update, then roll back the updated driver.
