    Hi guys,
Sorry to post this again but I urgently need an answer!
I want to disconnect my SSD drive from my Z motherboard. Do I just pull the zif cable out of the connector (shown in attached pic) and then push it back in to reconnect or have to do something with the connector little notches?
    Thanks in advance.

gently pry up on the black (brown) portion of the latch from the rear (top of your picture). A fingernail should suffice. That piece hinges UP and then the cable comes right out. To insert the new cable, leave the clamp UP...slide the cable in and hold the cable while pushing the brown (black) piece back down.

I could have sworn you asked this question in the owners thread and now your question nor my response are not there. I beat beaups by a whole 24hrs and the proof is missing :(

Never mind Qwaarjet, thank you too! It's nice to feel there is someone around who cares to help, even better if there is more than one. :D
BTW, I do remember reading an answer from you too.
    Anyway, thanks to all...!
