    VAIO Z series HDD protection status with windows XP downgrade

    Could anyone tell me if it is true that in the Z series, when I downgrade to windows XP, that the HDD protection software will not work?

    Or is the actual HDD protection itself that will be disabled?

    I read this on the sony asia website about downgrading and am very confused as I would definitely like to have HDD protection for a portable VAIO.

    The driver filter can also be installed on XP...

    I can't confirm that it is 100% working, but it should...
