    Hi,

I always like to reformat a PC every few months to make sure it runs fast.
Question is a full restore to factory condition using the recovery partition + installing the apps takes A LOT of time. There's also the activation problem with app, that after so any reinstall apps would say that you've used the key way too many times.

My question, considering I have a Z12 with a Quad Raid 0 setup, would I encounter trouble if I use Windows 7's backup system image? Would restoring break the Raid?
My idea is to have a clean system image from which I can restore from fast easy.

Nope. The RAID will not be affected. Backup and restore like you would any other single hard drive.

I'd recommend using Ghost or Acronis, but Win backup works too.
