First and foremost, here's a set of the photographs I took of the new Z![]()

I haven't finished my review, but here's a few benchmarks...
wPrime 32M: 32.248
SuperPi 1M: 21s
HD Tune Attached
I ran the Counterstrike:Source Video stress test and I'm surprised by the results:
1366x768 (All settings highest possible, but no AA and Trilinear Filtering) = 91.68 FPS
1920x1200 = 47.02FPS
That was the first graphic benchmark I ran, and with the default drivers. Hopefully, I can finish writing the actual usage review and have the rest of the benchmarks up by the end of the weekend.
I will say at this point, the VAIO Z has taken the #1 spot as the best laptop I've ever worked with (knocking the IBM T40p out)... and as a professional who has worked on virtually any brand and model produced in the past 6 years, this isn't a lighthearted compliment.
The VAIO Z epitomizes the essence of mobile computing, and sets the bar high for any future competition.

Wish you got the high res 16k display to run that, with all the hard work you will put in. Looking forward to it anyhow. All the best. -
Any news on the full review...
