    Hello there,
I own a Vaio FE-21M laptop Europe version, since the installation of Windows Seven 32bit OS I have problems reading SD/MMC cards with the included adapter is VGP-MCA20, it won't recognize them at all, and will make the computer freeze when I leave it inserted and I try to restart or shutdown the note....

Tried various drivers from the Vaio Europe support website, including the latest available (Texas Instruments Driver 2.0.0.17) and HP support site for Texas Instruments PCIxx12 Integrated FlashMedia card reader as suggested in the discussion of the link below,

Fix for VAIO builtin card reader and 4GB SD cards discussion:

and none of them resolved this issue.

I got a problem with mine after formating my sony vaio Aw and after install sony driver, it just cant read any SD/MMC card but still not that serious.

However you can try this method. What I do is actually I downloaded the DriverMax

    http://www.innovative-sol.com/drivermax/

Its a freeware, only 1 update is available a day but you can purchase a licsence to update your driver with no limit.

After installing. Check on your driver and look for your missing driver then update it or install it.

Hope this help. Good Luck :)

Everything will work fine but I'm not to sure if this help but you can give a try.
