I have a 4 year old battery VGP-BPS9/S 11.1/4800mAh that i guess it's dead but I wonder why the icon says: "no battery is detected" I am also wondering what should I do to get a new one since I change the operational system from Vista to Windows 7. Is that a problem?? Thanks for your comments

no problem changing your operating system.

look on the sony store in the accessories or have a look for one on ebay
