I have a Sony Vaio model no: PCG-7V2L and also its also says VGN-FE880E on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

This is the problem: The bottom two feet (rubber) do not touch the surface because the plastic underside dips outwards right in the middle of the underside. So my laptop is never completely stable, the back two feet touch the surface properly however the front two never properly touch causing the laptop to shake a lot when typing.

I just want some information on what Sony can do about this since the 1 year warranty expires in march and if Sony Customer Service is nice.

I know this is hard to imagine/visualize so if you have questions plz. ask.

    Thank You,
    Greg

Get them to replace the bottom panel since it sounds like it's been warped by heat. Also check temps so it doesn't happen again.

Lithus, it was like this when I took the computer out of the box. The temperature of my computer never goes that high either.

So you've ignored the problem for almost an year and are now wondering what to do? I think your only choice is getting it serviced by Sony.

Yeah if you still wonder what to do: call up your local sony number and get it serviced. It's obviously not normal, that said you will prolly get it serviced.
