    VAIO: PCG and VGN - what does this letters mean?

    Hi, you all

    This is a question of minor importance, but one that I have been puzzled by for some years: Anyone who knows what the letters PCG (earlier models) and VGN mean, in the names of the different models?

    (BTW, I have learned that VAIO stands for Video Audio Integrated Operation.)

    In addition: For example - is there a meaning connected to the letters DSC with regard to the digital cameras?
