    hello everyone
    I wanted to buy a new laptop, i am a bit confused between the Sony VAIO® VGN-FE790 and VGN c190 Notebook models
    Can anybody help me in this, i have seen the technical specifications on the site. Both the laptops match my need. all i want to know the issue other then what is mentioned on the site like
    Performance,
    Any problems
    Build Quality
    Screen quality

    And ofcourse overall which one is better.

    do you ever play games? you say both match your need, so i assume you don't play games, as the C190 doesn't have a dedicated graphics card

    FE has an amazing screen. Better overall value. C series screen really is dim with poor viewing angles.

    Get the FE. It is a much better value than the C. It is also higher quality. The C series is just designed for those cheap customers.

    If you customize the FE from Sony which will be cheaper, the laptop is actually MADE IN USA! It is not made in China/Malaysia like Dells..

    Yes, but not mine (bro-in-law) & is a FE-28GP which is same built but specs r different. Had to say the white color make me kind of uneasy on how to take good care of it. Saw a FE black color in Sony US website but not available in my area :(
