I own a Sony SZ220 with (VCC2) camera utility, but every time I run the utility there is a ridiculous amount of noise, the picture resolution is...it's just bad, very grainy.

So, I was wondering, if that is just how they are, or is there some kind of setting I need to change in order to get a better picture resolution. I'm not on stamina mode, I'm pretty sure the lighting is fine. I just don't know what the problem could be. I've seen the resolution of other 1.3 mega pixel cameras, such as on the Macbook, and the resolution on them in infinitely greater.

I've already upgraded (or at least reinstalled) the latest driver from the sony esupport site-nothing doing.

    Thanks in Advance.
