Hey all. Tried searching for this but couldn't find it, sorry if the thread exists. Brand new sony as above lap top, plug in a mouse into the usb port and the computer can't find it. Says it installs the human device etc but won't work. Quick trip to the shop and they couldn't figure it out. Emailed sony, usual blah about re-intalling usb drivers. Did that and nothing. Found the shortcut to the exe file to disable touch pad, still nothing.

Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

    Hmm...
My Medion laptop did something similar on a, I think Genius mouse.
After installing Linux on another part of the harddrive it worked some time and died to.
    Works on other laptops too.

I think its something to do with the mouse...
