    :eek: Ok- I can't seem to find the magic formula/ screw/technique to pop the top of the VGN - A series notebook to get at the internal hard drive and second SODIMM socket - and I have the repair manual! AND have searched the web -has anyone gotten inside the VGN-A series notebook? HELP - if anyone needs the repair manual I can post it to them. Thank you,

    hi, to reach the second ram modul you just have to "open" the keyboard. 2 screws under the notebook, marked with an arrow and a point, after this you have pull back three little plastic noses in front of the keyboard modul. maybe you can send me the repair manual because i want to replace the harddisc, but even i have put off all screws i cant open the top... ;o)

    Is an a150 like an A790? i would like to know? i would like to find my 2nd memory stick one day. lol
    I would love to replace the hard drive with something faster and maybe my dvd-rw
