Has anyone else attempted to upgrade from XP Pro to Vista Ultimate on a VGN-A series? I am in need of some direction regarding some of the programs that were pre-installed by Sony. Also any suggestions as to where to go, what to do for drivers would be appreciated.

I've upgraded from XP Pro to Vista Ultimate and it's pretty easy, just follow the on screen instructions.

As far as drivers, check the Sony website http://esupport.sony.com for new Vista drivers and guides on the upgrade process for that specific model.

I've already done the upgrade. I was looking to see if anyone else with the same model has done the same. I've gone to the sony esupport web site and looked up my model # and there are only the Sony version of the Microsoft Upgrade Advisor and one other driver for a TV Tuner.
