HI there. Got a Sony Vaio VGN-AR150G, dimensions 16.4" (W) x 11.8" (D) x 1.32" (H). I need to know what laptop bag/carrying case will protect it from shock, moisture, etcetera...and yet not be boring. Would prefer a messenger bag style. Don't want a backpack; I'm not in school anymore. :)

Know of either a great laptop sleeve or laptop bag that protects...and doesn't look as though I have no taste? :) Would prefer a messenger bag before a backpack any day.

    Thanks!

    Woo hoo!

I found a laptop bag/case that FITS! And PROTECTS! And is STYLISH! :) Wanna know what it is? It's a RoadWired 17+ bag.

It's amazing to me how few manufacturers make bags that do what they are supposed to do. This one adjusts to the size of the bag, so it butts up perfectly against the VGN-AR150G. AND it takes care of shock damage with their 'air square' protection. Plus, it's LIGHT -- it doesn't add a lot of unnecessary weight. And, that means a lot with all the stuff that will be in the typical bag along with the weight of the laptop. Perhaps most surprising...it looks fantastic. I considered Brenthaven, but...that's a heavy, bulky bag; on the contrary, the RoadWired bag does everything it's supposed to do, and makes you look *great* while doing it!

Great bag! To all other new VGN-AR150G owners, I highly recommend you go to their site (roadwired.com) and buy one yourself.

    Wheee!
