    Hi,

I have gone through some of the threads regarding XP install on Sony, and I have not come across anything resembling the problem a friend of mine is having. I hop someone can help with this.

Basically he bought a VGN-AR320e laptop recently, and was extremely fed-up with Vista. Since he has access to MSDN, he tried to install XP pro in the machine in a clean install. However, when he tries to install it (right after "Press the enter key to install XP"), he is getting an error message saying XP can't find a Hard Drive.

Any ideas what the issue is? I am guessing its drivers not supported by XP or something of that nature. I would appreciate any feedback you guys have.

    Regards,

press f6 at the beginning of the blue page of installation
you will see at the bottom of screen that say press f6 to install SCSI and raid drive
that all you need to do
