    Hello,

    First post

I dropped my laptop bag and my laptop landed on its corner, everything works fine but the power connection bit (the sort of inch long cylider part) has come loose

it wobbles, and although still connected has obviously come unclipped or snapped off somewhere inside

if i remove the casing will i be able to reattach this part?

does anyone know how, it seems quite a fragile section.

    thanks

    Hi,

I exactly have the same problem. An air hostess accidenlty dropped my bag and I noticed this damage later.

I sent images to vaio customer care, but they could not understand the problem and hence just asked to send my laptop to the service centre.

I am using every day very carefully with fear of loosing it completely.

If you have found it rectified please let me know.

    Thanks,
    K
