Hi, I'm new here. I just purchased the sony vaio vgn-aw310 laptop. I know this model has the xbrite-eco screen with the 1680x945 resolution NOT the full 1080p resolution. Does anyone else own this laptop. I was just wondering what is the difference in resolution. I have been checking other laptops and the 1680x945 resolution seems higher than most other laptops except for the ones that have the full hD. I don't have my laptop yet but there seems to be a lot of negative talk about this laptop not having the full hd resolution. Can you really notice the difference? I don't mind if it is a bit fadey compared to the 1080p. I don't like high color anyway. Just curious. I haven't seen too many users talking about this laptop. Is that because not many have bought it or haven't had any issues with it. I know it's being discontinued but I bought it mainly for the big screen and the blu-ray player and plus I got a good deal on ebay. Any other thoughts would be appreciated. Thx. :)
