    VGN-AX580G Screen flicker, faint buzzing sound

    I own a VGN-AX580G, today i noticed my screens brightness start to flicker.
    If turn it down to 7 (out of 8) I don't notice any flickering. (This could be because when the brightness is up all the way the flickering drops it to 7)

    There is also a very faint buzzing sound that seems to come from the bottom left corner of the screens hinge.
    This sounds seems related to the flickering for when I close the notebook the buzzing stops.

    Any idea on whats going on and maybe a way to fix this is greatly appreciated.

    add: this is probably unrelated but I just updated to sp3 yesterday.
