Is there anyway to get my downgraded vgn-c220e from vista to xp function keys to work properly? I have all the drivers from this link below.

    http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-list.pl?mdl=VGNC220E&SelectOS=7#div_pos_66

The only thing that seems to work is the volume, but the main thing I want is the function key to make my laptop screen show on my tv. (F+7)

I know this has been discussed but I haven't found a proper solution, and going back to their version of vista with a ton of bloatware really isn't worth the trouble.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Mark

Well, on all my other crappy laptops I just connect to my hdtv via male to male 15pin vga cable and put my tv on the correct source and hit function+7. (usually it's fn+7) so I'd assume I really don't need to go through a tuner with my vaio? Just seems as if some of my function keys, do not function, lol.

Also yeah I did try that driver, I will give it another shot when I return from the dentist today.

    Thanks,

    Mark
