Hi all,
Recent got a new Vaio, model listed above. Am still getting used to Vista and would prefer to have XP but have read that might more of a pain then it is worth.
I've been having a printing issue since I installed my HP All In One 6100 series printer. It installed find and the printing software seems to be all there. However, every time I print something...especially from Google Maps...I make sure to make "print in grey scale and use black print cartridge only" and every time is still prints color areas in color! I've even saved the settings since it allows you to save printing settings for different print jobs.
Any ideas or thoughts?
Thanks,
Mike

Where do you go to set "print in grey scale and use black print cartridge only"?

I have set it in both the "properties" tab when the printing window opens and also under control panel>printers>set preferences
I find this issue odd. I borrowed someone else's older Vaio before I purchased mine and never had this problem. Also, it wasn't an issue with my old Compaq laptop of 6 years that died. It is a bit annoying b/c we all know color printing slows the printing process down.
Thanks,
Mik
