    Hi folks,

I've had my 3-year old VAIO VGN-CR31 running Win7 using the Vista 32-bit drivers for the last 18 months and been very happy, but it's time for a RAM upgrade to 4GB and a reinstall, so I've been looking at moving to the 64-bit version.

I'm looking at the installation guides and gathering the required Vista 64-bit drivers, but I haven't found a Sony one for my chipset - Mobile IntelĀ® PM965 Express Chipset.

Now I think the following link is to the standard Intel driver:

    http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=18052&ProdId=2529&lang=eng

Can somebody who knows these things have a quick look and verify that I'm right? And is there any likelihood that Sony have tweaked the driver at all?

The 32-bit chipset driver available via esupport has "64" folder but the documentation suggests its for Windows Server...

    J

Thanks - I rejected that one because it didn't list the Mobile IntelĀ® 965 Express Chipset Family, just the non-mobile 965s...
