I have a Vaio VGN-FS570 was working fine up until it wouldn't trun on i assumed the battery was dead bought a new one off ebay and with that i noticed widows said the battery was charging but the battery % was going down.

I then thought i'll turn it off and leave the charger plugged it to see if it charges but that didn't work so i know the laptop is not drawing to much power i used a multimeter on the charge it said 19.5 volts and also on the mother where the dc plug plugs into motherboard it also show 19.5 volts but the battery connector is a bit of a mystery to me not sure which pins to mease for voltage some of them give me like 2-5 volts.

the laptop wil not power on with the ac adapter plugged in tried without battieries and tried with the 2 battieries. Also the battery i bought is not genuine. It worked until it ran out of charge as the laptop was not charging it. The genuine battery is the same won't charge at all.
