This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Ok, I've been fighting with this computer for quite some time now. I finally got it to read disks again but it still won't burn them. I fear that there may be something physically wrong with the drive, but I have no way of telling. Could someone please guide me in tackling this problem? Thanks!
