I'm using a VGN-FW-140D laptop, and I'm trying to upgrade to Windows 7.
Every time it installs, it seems to go well up until the last restart, and then it goes into the recovery center. Every time I close the recovery center, it restarts and goes back into the recovery center. I pretty much have to restore the system to Vista every time that happens.
This has happened with both clean install AND upgrade options.
I'm using a 32-bit Professional 7 version that's been tested on two other computers, and found to be working fine. The computers were upgraded, not a clean install.
I've installed the Windows 7 RC on it before and it worked fine. A month or so later, I got the above mentioned version, and I tried a clean install which did the whole recovery center thing. Once it reformated, I tried using the upgrade option, but I still got the same result, recovery center once it's done.
Please help.

I tried installing the RC again, and that worked fine.
But when I tried upgrading, it did the same thing... -
