    Hey all,
Downgraded my VGN-NR10E to Xp from Vista and got everything working, except the wireless. I've got the correct drivers but I believe I need a utility called switcher.exe?

Has anyone been through this and done it? Help please!!!

    Cheers

Here are the instructions to fix your WIRELESS on your SONY VGN-NR10E.

Right I installed the two wireless files from here
    ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/PUB/OS/XPDOWNGRADE/TX5/UTILITIES

then the program in this zip file
    http://tinyurl.com/yuhcng

Restart then go to device manager, and update the driver installed with the loose driver in the zip file.

    IN THAT ORDER.

I'm trying the same process with some but not complete success so far. Most of my info has come from the very useful thread "Drivers Windows XP For VGN-NR110E/S" at http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=189884 . Have a read through that lot - most of it is relevant as the NR110, although an older model, uses the same chipset and most other features are the same.

    Good Luck

okay guys you're gonna need the sata drivers and an external floppy in order to get past your problem of XP not seeing any hard drive. I tried a thumb drive with no luck until I got and actual floppy drive.
