I'm checking out a laptop that i'm fixing for my brother and noticed that the ram is at 533mhz. I decided to put in my 667mhz sticks of RAM but it only ran at 533mhz.

Is there a max memory speed limit that this system can handle or is it limited to the cpu's fsb which is 533mhz (T2310 @ 133mhz x 11)? I had the impression that since it's using the gm965 chipset that i can use the 667mhz memory without a problem. At least this is the info that cpu-z is reporting.

Can someone with the same model confirm if this is the same thing reported on your system? Thanks in advanced :)
