    VGN-NR220E - vent area is pretty hot to touch...

    I can deal with warm but my 5 year old Dell doesn't get this hot. I'm not sure if I should be expecting this but doesn't seem normal given the fact that I'm barely doing anything with the system. Just uninstalling all the crap Sony installed on the laptop

    Just updating with some numbers...

    I put a thermometer near the vent - over 110F

    Installed everest...

    CPU - 62 C
    Core 1 - 59 C
    Core 2 - 58 C
    HDD - 40 C

    Not sure what to expect temps wise for the cpu. My desktop is idles around 30-40C but then again I have a thermalright ultima 90 on it along with plenty of room to breath
