I am trying to update my Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset integrated graphic driver to the latest (was updated on 9/8/08). However, upon downloading the update from Intel's website, and running the program, I receive this error:

"The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Please obtain the appropriate driver from the computer's manufacturer. Setup will Exit."

The only driver I could find on the Sony website was just to restore it back to the one it was shipped in. ( http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/swu-download.pl?mdl=VGNNR385E&upd_id=3335&os_id=28 ) I am at a loss here. Anyone have any good ideas/fixes?

And before anyone asks, I am the admin on my computer.

Never mind, i found out the answer. For any of you wondering how to do it, you need to uninstall the driver currently on your computer, then you can install the new driver. You can do this by going under your devices and right clicking on your current driver and selecting "uninstall"
