    Hello all.

    My apologies for this I had the wrong model no, it should be 38 not 32, and thanks to for the prompt reply.

    Can the aboves memory be upgraded to 3GB or 4GB did a search on here but nothing found.

    it can be upgraded up to 4gb ram :)

    Thanks boypogi for the early reply but I got the model no wrong, it should have read NR38E/S, so does this model take extra memory as the Sony site says 2GB max.

    No, I don't think it will take 4GB.
    I think it has a T2390 and the GL960 chipset.

    The GL960 chipset is limited to 2GB.

    Though, you can try 3GB (2+1) with different slot patterns, because some of the Acer users were able to install and run 3GB when the 2GB and 1GB modules were installed in specific slots.
