    Hi.

I'm having problems with my laptop, the Fn+F5...F7 functions are not working. Fn+F3 and F4 (volume control) work properly, but no screen feedback is given.

I have tried to update the drivers several times, I have followed this tutorial and many more, but they didn't work.

    I can't find C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sony Shared nor C:\Program Files\Sony\ folders.

I'm running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bits and Service Pack 1.

I've installed every update for Windows 7.

I don't know what to do now, I'm not even sure if the drivers are being installed or how to remove them to try again (in case the order was wrong or something).

Anyway, I hope any of you guys can help me. Thanks.

You need to install the following Sony software in the order mentioned for the fn key functionality, together with a compatible GPU driver.

    1. Sony shared library.
    2. SFEP driver.
    3. Sony notebook utilites.
