Yous hould be able to purchase these batteries from any good electronics shop like Dixons or PC World. I would normally recommend places like that, but for something like a CMOS battery, they are okay. To replace it, you are going to eed to locate the battery. It is likely it is under a main panel under the notebook. Once located, you can remove the old one by levering something underneath it. Then just insert the new one. If your notebook is under warranty, then it will be best for Sony to replace it. Ask them first, before opening the notebook, as some manufacturers void the warranty if you replace the battery. Hope this helps.

    Hi,
Thanks for quick reply, I am unable to locate the battery and have removed most of the covers. I need to know specifically as it may be under something. I need to get the old one out to see which one it is. I am able to do it if I know were to find it.
    It is out of warranty.

    Regards
